I am Felicity. I am five. I know how to read. The first book I ever read was The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. I read it out loud to a lady at the library, and I got a sticker for it.

I don’t know how to write all that good, so everyone else is helping me.

I am one of the “Littles” (i.e. children) in the system. Some of the other Littles are bigger than me, like Cass and Myra. Some of them are smaller, like Lamb and Quaid. You probably won’t meet most of them, because we don’t want you to hurt them any more than they have already been hurt.

I have been hurt, too. I have bad memories, but I am brave.

I like face paints and doll houses.

I named myself Felicity after the American Girl Doll named Felicity, because she had a horse. I like horses, just like her.

I also like dogs and dolphins.

I want to be a dolphin trainer when I grow up.
